Pines, clouds and eternal mountains
Huangshan, located in Anhui Province in eastern China, is one of the most famous and spectacular mountains in the country. Known as the Yellow Mountain, this landscape of granite peaks, ancient pine trees and seas of clouds has inspired traditional Chinese painting and poetry for centuries. Declared a World Heritage Site, Huangshan offers some of the most iconic landscapes in China, with viewpoints from which to watch sunrises among mountains and clouds.

Travellers can walk trails and staircases connecting temples, peaks and rock formations with legendary names, take a cable car for panoramic views or spend the night on the mountain to watch one of the most famous sunrises in the country. Due to its altitude and changing weather, it is recommended to bring comfortable walking clothes, proper hiking footwear and some warm clothing, as the temperature at the summit can be lower even in summer. Huangshan is an ideal destination for those who want to discover one of China's most iconic and photographed natural landscapes.
